Amador County Sheriff Endorses Cristi Nelson for Assembly
Roseville, CA— Business owner and assembly candidate, Cristi Nelson has received the endorsement of Amador County Sheriff Martin A. Ryan.
When asked about his endorsement, Ryan said, “I am proud to support Cristi Nelson in her campaign for assembly, as she is a strong advocate for public safety. I am confident that as an Assemblywoman, she will continue to make our safety a top priority.”
The daughter of a Special Agent Supervisor with the California Department of Justice, Cristi was raised with a deep appreciation for the work of law enforcement officers; she currently serves as a member of the Placer County Sheriff’s Department Search and Rescue Mounted Team.
In addition to the recent support of Sheriff Ryan, Cristi has also earned the endorsement of public safety leaders and organizations, such as: Placer County Sheriff Ed Bonner, the Folsom Police Officers’ Association, and the Placer and El Dorado County Sheriffs’ Associations.
A self-made businesswoman, Cristi graduated from Sacramento State with a degree in criminal justice, and earned her law degree while working full time. After spending much of her career working to protect businesses and hardworking families from predatory litigation, Cristi and her husband own a Roseville-based tech company that employs over 300 people.
As an Assemblywoman, Cristi will use her business experience and passion for law enforcement to increase employment opportunities and keep families safe. Cristi has been married to her husband, Rick, for 23 years, and they have two children.
