Folsom Police Officers Association Endorses Cristi Nelson for Assembly
Roseville, CA – Small business owner and assembly candidate, Cristi Nelson has earned the support of the Folsom Police Officers Association (FPOA) in her campaign for State Assembly.
“Cristi Nelson has always been an advocate for public safety and her commitment to making sure both our residents as well as the men and women in uniform are safe, makes her the best person for the job,” said FPOA President John Lewis.
Founded in 1950, the FPOA has spent nearly 70 years partnering with the community and providing quality police service for the region. Their commitment to professionalism and ethical behavior has created an atmosphere of safety and security for the area’s families.
The daughter of a Special Agent Supervisor and long-time member of the Placer County Sheriff’s Department Search and Rescue Mounted Team, Nelson understands the importance of public safety and has committed countless hours to enhancing the level of safety for those around her. This understanding and dedication are attributes that Nelson plans to bring with her to Sacramento.
“Many of our leaders in California have made decisions that are adversely affecting our neighborhoods and working families,” said Nelson. “This is unacceptable, and I look forward to working with organizations like the Folsom Police Officers Association to right these wrongs.”
After graduating from Sacramento State with a degree in Criminal Justice, Nelson went on to earn her law degree at night while working full time. She is now the owner of a Roseville-based tech company that employs over 300 residents.
