We may not live very far from Sacramento but our priorities are worlds apart. Higher taxes, bigger government, and more laws have become the Sacramento politicians’ answer to every problem. Those are not the answers our community is looking for.
I can no longer sit back and watch the bureaucracy grow while our rights are diminished. The growth of the nanny state is absurd. We have too many laws and not enough common sense.
I was raised in a law enforcement family. Service is something that was part of my life at an early age. I have created systems to streamline processes and save taxpayer dollars. I have successfully led efforts to cut litigation expenses while maintaining quality and productivity. My husband and I own a local company that provides hundreds of quality jobs for the area.
Now, I want to take this experience and my conservative values to Sacramento – providing our region with a voice and fighting for common sense policies that stop the reckless spending, create jobs, and keep criminals behind bars.
I believe in our potential and I will provide the leadership that permits us to realize a stronger and safer future.
P.S. If you have questions, call me at (916) 672-8060. I’m running to serve the people of this region.
Cristi Nelson will be a great regional leader in the Assembly. Her background in private business, combined with her dedication to keeping our communities safe, make her the perfect choice for Assembly.
Cristi Nelson is a respected community leader and champion of hardworking families. As a Sacramento-area native who has chosen to raise her family and operate her business here, Cristi offers a valuable perspective on the issues that face our region. Her strong work ethic and conservative principles are exactly what this district needs. Cristi will make an excellent Assemblywoman.
Cristi is a true conservative who will stand up for the working class. Like me, she cannot continue to ignore the political decisions that burden our hard-working families and drive economic opportunities from our state. Her experience as a business owner and commitment to protecting the rights we cherish make her the best person for the job.
We need more elected officials who understand how to run a successful business, and Cristi’s experience as a businesswoman will permit her to provide sound fiscal leadership for our communities.
The number of regulations placed on small businesses in our state does nothing to encourage investment or spur job growth. Like me, Cristi has witnessed the hardships of misguided policy decisions and their effect on small business. I’m supporting her because I’m confident that she is not only committed to changing this culture, but also knows how to do it.
Raised in a law enforcement family, service has always been a part of Cristi’s life. She knows what it takes to keep our communities safe, and I’m confident she will get the job done.
